Terms of sale

The frame of our commercial relationship, in plain English.

Version of 21 September 2026

Legal noticeTerms of salePrivacy

1. Who the service is for

SpaceWeb is a service for professionals only: freelancers, companies, liberal professions and associations, acting in the course of their business.

By subscribing, the customer declares that they act in a professional capacity. These terms do not apply to consumer sales, and the service is not offered to private individuals.

Subscribing means accepting these terms as in force on the day of the order.

2. What the subscription covers

The “showcase website” plan costs €22 per month and covers: design and publication of the website, hosting, essential updates, connection of the domain name, access to the client area (project tracking, inbox, files, invoices) and support from a single point of contact.

Essential updates include fixes, security updates and occasional content tweaks. They do not include extra pages, specific features, redesigns or advanced customisation.

Anything outside the plan is quoted first and started only once the customer accepts. Nothing is ever invoiced without prior agreement.

Available options: an administration panel at €399 one-off, then the usual subscription; an e-commerce site from €5,000 to build, then €35/month for hosting.

3. Orders, lead times and cooperation

Orders are placed online or through direct contact. No deposit is required.

The site goes live within an indicative 48 to 72 hours from the moment the customer approves the design. That lead time assumes the customer has supplied what is needed: copy, images, logo, and access to their domain name if they already own one.

Nothing is published without the customer’s approval. In return, delays caused by missing answers or materials push the launch back accordingly.

The customer warrants that they hold the rights to the content they send us (copy, photos, logos) and allows us to use it to build and publish their website.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. The subscription is charged monthly, by card, through our payment provider Stripe. No card details pass through or are stored on our servers.

Spacewebs LLC is not registered for Belgian VAT: no VAT is charged. Business customers established in the European Union remain responsible for their own obligations in this respect, including reverse charge where it applies.

If a payment fails, we follow up. If the situation is not resolved within fifteen days of that reminder, the website may be suspended and then unpublished. It is restored as soon as payment is made.

5. Term and cancellation

The subscription is monthly, with no minimum term. It renews automatically each month.

The customer may cancel at any time from the client area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period: the month already started remains due and is not refunded pro rata. No exit fee applies.

We may end the subscription on thirty days’ notice, or immediately in the event of unlawful use, manifestly illegal content or persistent non-payment.

6. What happens when the subscription ends

The domain name stays with the customer. If it is registered in our name on their behalf, we transfer it free of charge on request.

The customer’s content stays theirs. On request made within thirty days of the end of the subscription, we hand back their copy, their images and the files stored in their area. After that, the data may be permanently deleted.

The website itself, however — its build, its design, the code that runs it — remains the property of Spacewebs LLC. The subscription grants a right to use the site for as long as it runs, not a transfer of ownership. In practice: when the subscription ends, the site stops being published. That is the trade-off for a monthly price with no build fee.

Buying out the code and design remains possible, on quotation, if the customer wishes to take their site with them.

7. Availability and maintenance

We take reasonable steps to keep sites online, fast and up to date. This is an obligation of means: no guaranteed uptime figure is promised.

Interruptions may occur for maintenance, security updates or because of a third party (host, registrar, network operator). We announce them when they are foreseeable and keep them short.

Sites and data are backed up regularly, on infrastructure separate from the production server.

8. Liability

Our liability, whatever the cause, is limited to the amounts paid by the customer over the twelve months preceding the triggering event.

We are not liable for the content published by the customer, for the use they make of their site, nor for the commercial or tax consequences of their business.

Neither party is liable for a failure caused by force majeure within the meaning of Belgian law.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Where we host a site that itself collects data (contact form, customer area), the customer is the controller and we act as processor, on their instructions.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Any substantial change, in particular to pricing, is announced by e-mail at least thirty days before it takes effect.

A customer who refuses the change may cancel free of charge before it applies. The current price stands until the end of the monthly period already started.

11. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Belgian law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution first. Failing that, the courts of Liège have exclusive jurisdiction.
